When planning your summer, note that courses are fairly sequential and that training may happen in as few as 2 summers and one school year, or over 3 summers with the internship year taking place the summer after the Curriculum Development course is taken.

  • Philosophy and Overview Classes for Summer 1 students, are held at The New School, 3 Burton Woods Lane, Cincinnati, OH 45229
  • Philosophy Class, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Overview  Class, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Structure & Organization Class for Summer 2 students is held at Clark Montessori at Jacobs Center, 5425 Winton Ridge Lane, Cincinnati, OH 45232, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Curriculum Development is to be taken the summer preceding the Practicum.  The course is held at Clark Montessori at Jacobs Center, 5425 Winton Ridge Lane, Cincinnati, OH 45232, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm.
  • All Final Presentations of student work will be held at Clark.
  • Pedagogy of Place is a Summer 2 field study and takes place within the city of Cincinnati.
  • Erdkinder is a Summer 1 Field Study and will take place on an organic farm just outside of Asheville, NC.
  • The culminating ceremony for those students ready to receive credentialing will be held on the last day of Pedagogy of Place. All students and teachers are invited to attend.

Note: Retreat Dates for 10-11 School Year T.B.A.
